Digital products in the aipatnam Store are files such as PDFs, documents and ZIPs. A free claim or confirmed paid purchase places the product in your Purchases page so you can return to it later. This guide follows the buyer path shown by the current Store screens.
A physical Instagram shop item works differently: its Order button starts a conversation with the seller, who handles payment and delivery. Use the steps below only when the listing is a digital file with a Get it free or Buy now button.
Check the listing before you claim or buy
Open the digital product page from a creator’s public store or a link they shared. Read the title and description to confirm what the file contains. Look at the displayed price, file type, file size and PDF page count when those details are available. If the seller enabled a free PDF preview, open it to see the sample pages before deciding.
Check who is selling the file and whether the description answers your practical questions, such as format, topic and intended use. A cover image or sample is helpful, but it is not a substitute for a clear description. If the listing does not say what you need, ask the seller before paying.
The buttons reflect the product’s current availability. Get it free starts a free claim. Buy now starts a paid checkout only for a seller currently eligible to take paid orders. If the page says Not available to buy yet, the product cannot be purchased from that page at present; wait for the seller to make it available.
Sign in and complete the claim or checkout
- Select Get it free or Buy now on the product page. Sign in to your aipatnam account if prompted; use an email address you can access because Purchases and protected PDFs are tied to that account.
- For a free product, confirm the claim. The Store sends you to Purchases, where the product should appear after the claim succeeds.
- For an available paid product, follow the payment page opened by the Store and finish the payment there. Return to the Store after checkout and allow the confirmation to complete.
- Open Purchases from the Store navigation to find the completed order and its Read online or Download options, where available.
If you already own the product, the product button takes you to Purchases instead of charging or claiming again. If you returned from payment and the order is still pending, the Purchases page checks for a confirmation. Give that check time to finish and refresh your order view before trying anything else.
Read, download and keep access
Purchases lists your completed paid orders and free claims. For an eligible PDF, Read online opens it in the Store; Download saves your copy. Other file types use Download. The exact buttons depend on the uploaded file and your order status. A refunded paid order no longer gives access to the file.
Some PDFs include your account email stamped on each page. A seller can also choose a password-protected copy; in that case, use the email on your aipatnam account as the PDF password. The Purchases page shows that email beside the download so you can check it if your PDF reader asks for a password.
Keep the account you used for the claim or purchase. If the seller publishes an approved new version of the same product, Purchases marks it Updated and offers the latest read or download copy. You can return to this page rather than hunting for the original link.
Get help with a payment or file
Open the purchase in Purchases and use Help with this purchase for an order-specific problem. Describe what happened and include the order information shown on that page. If a download opens but its contents differ from the listing, explain the difference and contact the seller as well when their details are available.
For a paid digital product, read the Store digital-product section of the refund policy for the current conditions and contact route. A free claim has no payment to refund. For a physical shop item, payment and delivery are agreed with the seller in chat, so the digital checkout and download steps here do not apply.
Questions people ask
Where is my free file after I claim it?
Open Purchases while signed in to the same aipatnam account used for the claim. A successful free claim appears there with the available read or download action.
Why does my PDF ask for a password?
The seller may have enabled protected PDF copies. Use the email address on the account that claimed or bought the product; Purchases shows it beside the download.
What should I do if I paid but do not see a download?
Wait for the order confirmation on Purchases. If the order shows Needs review, use Help with this purchase or contact support with its order details, and do not pay a second time while it is checked.
Can I get a later version of a file?
If the seller publishes an approved update to the same product, Purchases marks it Updated and offers the latest file for your existing claim or purchase.
