Common questions
How do AI credits work?
Your paid plan gives you one AI balance for all AIPatnam apps and all your connected Instagram accounts. AI runs only when you choose an AI action. Rewrite costs 1 credit, an analytics summary 2, analysing up to 25 comments 2, a new AI ideas board 5, and an idea package 3. Included credits expire after the 30-day paid period; unused credits do not roll over. You can buy 200 more credits for ₹49 with a one-time UPI payment. Purchased credits last 365 days and can be used while you have an active paid plan. There are no automatic top-ups.
Is the Free plan really free? Is there a trial?
Yes — the Free plan is free forever, with no card or UPI needed. There is no time-limited trial. Your first paid subscription may qualify for the introductory price shown above; billing confirms your exact first charge and renewal amount. You can pay with UPI, GPay, PhonePe or Paytm.
What counts as a DM?
Each automated private message counts as one DM — from a keyword campaign or an automation rule. Public comment replies on your own post do not count. "Unlimited" on Advance means no monthly cap; Instagram's own limit of 200 automated DMs per hour per account still applies.
How does billing work, and can I cancel anytime?
Paid plans renew every 30 days through UPI AutoPay; your UPI app notifies you at least 24 hours before each debit. Cancel anytime in Billing (or by revoking the mandate in your UPI app): you are not charged again and keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. Payments are not refundable except for duplicate or incorrect charges — see our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Will my Instagram account get banned?
InstaDM is built on Instagram's official Business Login API and respects all of Meta's platform limits — 200 DMs/hour, one DM per user per 24 hours. We're currently in Meta App Review for the required permissions.
Do I need a Business or Creator account?
Yes. Instagram's API requires a Business or Creator account to send automated DMs. Personal accounts are not supported by Meta's API.
What happens when I hit my DM limit?
New DMs pause until your limit resets on the 1st of the month (IST). You'll see your usage in the dashboard and can upgrade at any time to continue.
